Through Behavioral Health Clinic mental health programs an individual realizes his or her own needs, obtains skills for coping with life’s stresses, and works productively for their own benefit, the benefit of their family and loved ones, as well as for the greater community. This is achieved through Individual and/or Group Therapy.
We are all unique in this world and individual therapy is where we honor our unique human experience. Through individual therapy we piece together our physical, emotional, and behavior selves in the context of our environments.
Our Individual Therapy programs are overseen and conducted by licensed, credentialed, and privileged professional therapists and councilors including LCSW-Cs, LGPCs, and CACs. This service offers individualized and specific therapeutic counseling in self-awareness and behaviors management, as well as identifying new perspectives on underlining thoughts and emotions.
Therapy groups are organizations of people who share a common issue or experience, like anxiety or grief, and who meet together to discuss their experiences, share ideas, and provide emotional support for one another. The content of the group sessions is confidential and members agree not to identify other members or their concerns outside of group.
Behavioral Health Clinic holds over 70 therapy groups a week. All support groups are overseen by licensed therapists and led by trained members whom guide and facilitate the group discussions. In conjunction with the 23 Addiction Recovery groups, Behavioral Health Clinic provides Mental Health Group Therapy in the areas of:
